I know I shouldn't do it but I can't help it.

I get cold sores and they drive me crazy so when it scabs over I pick it. I hate how ugly they look and I just want it gone. I've been getting them since I was a kid.

It's herpes, don't touch it or you'll spread it to your children, other parts of your lip or even your vagina.

I also get cold sores off and on and I have gotten Abreva and they still lasted 2 weeks. I found that if I put Campho-Phenique on as soon as I notice the tingling that it doesn't even come out all the way and is gone withing a day or two and it's way cheaper.

I just leave it alone. I notice it heals much faster if I leave it alone. I get them so rarely though, maybe like once every couple of years, lol.

Everyone has the virus in their body, some people just get "outbreaks" due to stress or being sick.

It doesn't work either! My doc gave me some prescription cream
When I was pregnant it worked great but it was a sample and is so so expensive if you have to pay for it my insurance doesn't cover it.
