If I can hear your music through closed doors and windows, it's too loud

The people down the hill from where I live have their music cranked up high right now. I asked them to turn it down and was told that because it's only 4pm they don't have to. As I was walking away, the young woman made a remark about old people complaining too music. I wanted to turn around and slap her. I'm not that old and if I can hear it with all of my doors and windows closed, it's too damn loud.

I know what you mean! I'm only 25 (not old at all) and have had to ask neighbors to turn down their music. If I'm two houses away and can hear it through closed doors and windows with all the noise of a dog and two kids, your music is too damn loud.

Maybe they're deaf and must have it loud in order to hear it? That's my excuse :)

I agree but there's not much you can do til its like after 11. 9 depending on the city. My neighbors do it all the time. I'm like just turn down the damn bass a little and we will be fine. They shake shit off my walls.

 Yes..that's incredibly too loud. I have the same problem with my neighbors. My son and soon to be sd have those wooden letters in their rooms..they are super glued to the wall lol. Their TV was so loud that it knocked the letters off of her wall...you honestly can't tell if it's thunder or their movie playing....
