How often do you...

Deep clean. I break it up by day in this house and it ends up being that every room gets deep cleaned twice a week and tidy once a day (at least). I really wish I wasn't the only one in this house cleaning or cooking but it just so much more work to stay after them to help me. Btw I have df, lb (12), ds (2), bb (25) all living here and I do all laundry, housework and yard work and work part time and go to school (online) part time.

Hubs gets two weeks of off time from work so I use that time to deep clean while he occupies the kids.

Deep cleaning as in moving all the furniture to vacuum, taking everything off shelves to dust, washing windows, scrubbing floors on my hands and knees instead of mopping....once a week. On Thursdays actually, but I'm taking today off.

The rest happens daily.

I agree it drives me crazy. I tried to go on strike for a week. I didn't clean the down stairs. It was so dirty I have in. And laundry I went strike on that once and they just started wearing dirty clothes (I was washing mine and my 2 year olds only). I couldn't take that either so I gave.

Yea I have gone on strike also, and it just sits and piles up and that is everything not just laundry. Strike don't matter to my family the only time it mattered is when I went on strike from making dinner, I was making it putting it away cleaning up after everyone and giving everyone their food. With NO appreciation. I got tired of it, stopped making dinner would tell em find something on your own we got tons of leftovers. Well when the leftovers were gone they realized mom wasn't happy n started helping out by doing dishes after dinner or putting stuff away and now we are back to the begining of me doing it all again. Maybe it's time I do another strike lol

Yep me too. I usually do it on Mondays. The rest of the week I just vacuum and dust daily. I keep a clean house so there is not a lot to have to keep up with on daily basis. I put things away as I use them.
