When you see 11 homes for sale in less than a mile....

There is something very wrong. I was taking dd to school and that's exactly what I saw. They were nice little homes in a well kept, middle class area. It makes me sad.

yea that would make me wonder what goes on there.  What about 3 empty houses for sale for 2+years round our house...we were the only thing constant.  We've lived here since 05 and the house across the street from us was empty for 3years and for sale 1yr then the 2 houses on either side of us were for sale for 2years each...after a while dh and I started to wonder if it was us.

Someties it just means that they can't sell. I would ahve to see if they all went on the market at the same time...because it could also mean something unsavory has come into the area.

I think it's just lack of available work in the are. People are leaving.

We have a bunch of houses for sale around where I live. One of best areas of town people just can't sell and we have layoffs from all the major employers around town.
