I am so grossed out right now! My husband and I picked up my oldest daughter for the weekend, and as usual we allowed her to pick where we would eat. She wanted pizza from CiCi's, so that's where we went. Everything was good until we got halfway through our bottle of parmesan. There, right in the middle was a big clump of MOLDY cheese. I'm glad neither of my daughters noticed this.
I immediately went up front to talk to the manager, and his manner was rude and uncaring. So...we left and I came home to call customer service, where, of course, no one was available to speak to me. Left with no other option, I sent them this email: (I WILL be calling again tomorrow morning.)
Me, my husband, and our 2 children were just at CiCi's store #713. We had used about half a jar of parmesan cheese when mold was discovered in the bottle. I would like someone to contact me about a full refund. Something like this is completely unacceptable, and you can rest assured that we will NOT be back!
Also, I spoke to a gentleman at the counter who said he was the manager (but did not give his name). All he did was take the bottle, confirm it was mold, but he did not apologize or do anything else about it. I find this type of service to be disrespectful to the customers, and I hope that something can be done to correct the poor cleaning standards and failing customer service at this store.
I think I was quite polite, when in truth I wanted to swear at them, lol. Right now I'm fighting throwing up. :(
