Shows seem to be canceled way quicker than they used to.
I found out the Secret Circle, Alcatraz and Awake are being canceled among others. BUT there have been rumors almost from the second or third episode on some.
I am really hesitant to even watch new shows now because I feel like my time is wasted if they are canceled right away or leave you with a cliffhanger. Anyone else ticked off about this too? I feel like just waiting now and making sure there WILL be second seasons and renting the first now. *sigh*
I wanted to like that show. I thought the acting and casting was great, the effects awesome but the storylines were just "meh". There is so much they could have done with the premise. It just started to get better when it was canceled.
I'll be interested to see if Spielbergs alien show makes it another season. I forget the name but Its coming back in a few weeks. The one with Noah Wylie. That's another one with potential that just fell flat.

I was so sad that they canceled "Terra Nova"! :((((
I saw that! I was surprised to hear it was ending. I guess Hugh Laurie wants to do other things now..

It is all about $$$ in Hollywood if shows don't make it by a certain amount of people watching each week they get cancelled and they try a "test run" of something different. They don't even give the show a chance to see if it takes off. Most of the time they know by the 2nd or 3rd show if they are thinking of canceling due to ratings. It sucks there is so many shows I love they are taking off air. Some are due to actors not wanting to continue like house is getting cut because of the actor not wanting to stay on.
Quoting bookmommy:Wow. Seems like that show just came on..
