If you have to remind your hubby to..

Posted by   + Show Post

get you something for Mother's Day that is meant to come from him and the kids, is it really worth it and thoughtful at that point?

I have not said a word about anything. And my husband will not remember or even think of me tomorrow. I just get to the point where if i have to remind someone to buy me something then I would rather be without. I honestly just don't care anymore. I'm not mad at hubby, but i just simply don't care.

My hubs doesn't even really do holidays so I won't be getting anything either.

Yep, I usually remind him in April that Mother's Day is "next month" so he can find out the date and plan. I also remind him of the other kind of holidays that aren't SUPER huge like Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween, etc. My husband cares a LOT about Mother's Day but it's one of those holidays that it's on a different day in the month each year so it's harder for him to remember when exactly. :)

Some husbands just don't remember.  Being forgetful doesn't mean they care less.

I refuse to remind him of holidays and/or special occasions. If he doesn't remember then to him its not important..

My dh could never forget anything like tomorrow, or birthdays, or anniversaries. I talk about them for a month before. LOL. Like making plans, reminding him to send my B***ch-MIL a beautiful card. All of that.

do you remind/ask him about sending a card to her? That might help.
