I like one from overstock.com that's $20. I don't care where it comes from or how much it costs. I really just want him to find one that he wants me to have. That when he sees it, it reminds him of me.
I don't even like their nicer more expensive rings. We didn't do an engagement ring. I just have a band. I think it's the sentiment that counts, though. No one is going to know it's from Walmart but you.
I wouldn't like it because I really dislike Walmart to begin with.
Mine came from Wal-Mart and I love it. I get lot's of compliments and people can't believe it came from WM. IMO, it's ridiculous to take out a freaking loan to buy a ring for thousands of dollars when that money can go towards your wedding or a down payment for a house.
I'd be irritated. Cheap ring - fine. But if you only have $100 to spend on an engagement ring you'd be so much better off going to a pawn shop and getting more for your money.
I would be disappointed BUT only because he knows my views on buying stones from big box stores.
