yep so my 5 yr old intentionally threw a rock and shattered my storm door!!!

he was throwing a fit i told him to go out and play and calm down and he can come back in when he quits throwing a fit well he got mad and found a rock,threw it and shattered my storm door!!! I was so furious with him. I took away his tv and his ps2 and im rethinking putting him on meds

That's a lil out of line. Both my kids have a TV and DS has a DVD player in his room. He also has a wii I keep in my room.... my kids are spoiled and have a right to be because they are mine and I love them. She has a right to give her son a TV and ps2 and he's got a right to throw a tantrum without someone who doesn't even know him calling him a brat for it.

My kids like to get mad and storm to their rooms and slam the door, they are 6 & 3. Doesn't make them brats, all kids act out. Its called being childish......

well its not like he sits in there all day playing video games and watching tv. He is outside mostly all day every day he only watched it at night and he watched vegitales nothing violent and he hardley ever even plays the ps2 shouldent have even got it waste of money

Oh good greif...I guess I'm just old fashioned. THIS is why kids are more defiant these days. They're spoiled rotten!! If I ever have another kid and they act out like that, they would get a slight slap on the wrist, a very stern "You do not throw rocks, ever.", and sent to their room until I can find an age-appropriate chore for them to do as punishment.

I'm 43 yrs old and had a tv,my brothers had a tv in their room,pool table. We were far from being spoiled.My 4 yr.old that's here has his own room with a tv,gaming system,basketball hoop...that doesn't make them spoiled.We are still the parents and teaching them in the right way.
