The other day, I took dd to McDonald's after a special shopping trip.
We seldom eat there and usually get it to go and eat at home.
It was interesting seeing the people inside, there. LOL
Anyway, this guy in front of me was ordering for himself and 3 other kids. I eavesdropped on his order and watched them all go sit down and eat. He ate TWO double cheeseburgers, fries and all that jazz...then when they were leaving, he ordered 2 fish sandwiches and proceeded to eat them on the way out the door.
That's like 4000 calories...for lunch! LOL
Who eats like that?
I voted "other"
yes, I could eat all that in 1 sitting, BUT would be sick as a dog about an hour or so later when it finally hit my stomache and/or intestines. LOL!!!
<--- 5'6" 120lbs, but eats like a truck driver!
Quoting bhmomma:
My step dad gets 12 tacos, 2 quesodillas (haha sp?), and 2 bean burritos from del taco. I'm like give me a burrito and I'm good. Idk how he does it.
My husband can usually eat about that much, though he also usually doesn't eat anything for breakfast so it is two meals for him.
Personally I could never eat that much, I can rarely finish one sandwich from the fast food joints.
It used to bother me when my husband ate whatever he wanted and never gained an ounce..I was eating next to nothing and still was "chubby"...then mother nature caught up with hubby in the form of getting older..now he grazes...he'll eat a normal dinner and 30 minutes later out comes the half gallon of ice cream and a spoon ( I call it his Dixie Cup ) and he'll eat half of the container. Then a couple of hours later he has a snack. I never had a huge appetite and always wished I could "look like what I ate"..I would have been stick thin!
We took our grandson to Burger King a couple of days ago...he'd had a good day and good report from his doctor visit. I was "stuffed" after a chicken wrap and a cup of black coffee......I just sat and watched the guys shovel in their food. Not fair..I'm 5'3" tall and considered in the obese weight range...the guys are considered in the "normal" weight range.
