My first time being a t-ball coach. Whats some tips/advice you can give me
I am having my first practice as a tball coach tonight and am leaving in about 30 minutes. I've coached older kids before but never any this young. What is some advice, tips you can give? Ever have an issue with a t-ball coach and you'd like to warn me against certain things? I know its pretty basic stuff, but whatever helps!
Drink. Drink a lot. (JK)
Use email and phone to get in touch with parents, and be prepared for parental politics.
Assertive communication is key, as well as designating parents to handle some stuff (small things like snack sign up, end of season party to get money from the team, etc).

I was my DD's t-ball coach for two years in a row.
I found that making a list of the order of children up to bat ..is a good one , having them sit in that order on the bench helps.
Also , make sure that they are in different order's every game...so that every child has a chance to go ' first'.
