What would you do? Teenager drama

My 17 year old daughter can be impossible at times. She's indecisive as hell.

Well, her boyfriend is graduating tonight. For months she has known about it, the when and where etc. She has been adamant about not going. Even when I argued she should go.

Well today, after school she says she wants to go. She'll need us to take her because she refuses to learn how to drive. I am refusing to take her and pick her up. We have a lot of crap going on around here and she has said numerous times she wasn't going. Now, her friends are giving her shit so she decides she needs to go. I told her absolutely not, if she goes, she has to get a ride there from him.

She's pissed and moping around, won't talk to me.

Would you take her if she were yours? Oh and no, this isn't the first time she's pulled this.

EDIT!!! Graduation is over. She has accepted that she was rude and inconsiderate and apologized. The debate is over. Thank you for the replies. :)

My 16 yo gets one chance to make plans if it involves me driving her.  After that, if she changes her mind, transportation's her problem.

Nope, I'd do what you're doing. She made it clear she didn't want to go, so you made other plans. Now she has to deal with it on her own.

Can one of her friends take her if they can drive?  I dunno.

If you cave, you'll reinforce the behavior. You aren't wrong.

Honestly? Yeah I would probably cave in and take her. My daughter is like that as well. She can never make up her mind, but if it something that's important to her, well I would hate to say no if it was at all possible that I could.
