Store brand things that are surprisingly amazing.

Another post about cheap diapers got me thinking about all the cheap things that i have used that have surprised me. Once on vacation we ran out of our beloved huggies diapers, and there was no store but dollar general for miles. So we stopped bought a pack and prepared for leaks and multiple changes.

Surprisingly, they were almost as good as huggies and did not leak once, Walmart brand leaked, Luvs leaked, Target didnt, but wasn't quite as absorbant. 

Suave professionals shampoo, I got it when i was broke and co no longer pay 15.00 for bedhead.

it's just as good.

I'm sure i will think of more, what are some off brand items that surprised you?

me too and around here i guess a lot of people around here feel the same because there are lots of times they are out when i go to the store

I am a big advocate for store brand but was duped yesterday/today

I bought rite aid tylenol & it did absolutely nothing (tried last night & this am) then my mom brought over tylenol & it helped with in minutes....

CVS brand OTC Meds

Many Publix brand items (Cheerios, cheese, milk, canned/frozen veg, etc)

 For me it is my grocery stores brand.  I am in Canada so Canadian will know what I am talking about, but for me it has to be Presidents Choice products.  Not always the cheapest but their Decadent Chocolate Chip Cookies are amazing and so is there new sofrito relish.

Sadly, a lot of stores don't have "store brand" of what I use. When I'm trying to be all green, organic, natural, and all that, it's hard to shop at Walmart/Freddie's/Safeway.

Let's face it...suave is great, but they don't make an organic, Parabin and sulfide free shampoo like Yes to Carrots does.

I buy off brand meds. Also I have found that the Kroger store brand anything is awesome. I almost never buy name brand stuff, except for hair products.
My mom has a Costco card and I also love the Kirkland brand stuff, except for the green tea.
Walmart water is my fave. Sams choice.

Big Y string cheese is much better than any brand name string cheese, by far!
