ok this post might be a little TMI but i really need to know if u know whats going to happen? Im 8 weeks 2 days pregnant and i have hyperemesis well ive been doing somewhat better. When i was doing bad i had to go to the e.r for hydration and they told me that i had a severe UTI and my white blood cells are off the chart. They gave me macrobid for the UTI well its gotten so bad i have little very little discharge coming out of my pee whole and no i dont have a STD. Well i tried taking the macrobid 2 times already and i puke it up every time i take it so i know i have to go to the e.r tommrow bc i live 4 hrs away from my ob right now my sister is taking care of me and my daughter while hubby works back home. So what do you think they will do tommrow because i have to have this treated. All opinions are welcome. Thanks for listening and reading this.
Hmm no clue. They may hold you until you can keep the medicine down. May have to get an IV put in for the medicine.
Ok thanks that makes sense i just hate to have the iv meds then puke it up too :( i try my hardest to keep it down but its kinda like unstopable. thanks :)

IV for nausea, fluids and antibiotics. Basically give you a coctail!!! They will get you feeling better. IV Phenegran works very well for nausea. They can give you a prescription for phenegran suppositories for when you are at home.
Ive been on all nausea meds nothing works :( second time going to e.r and no nausea meds help

They will try a different antibiotic. Probably an IV antibiotic which requires an admission to the hospital.
really like admission like overnight? Not a normal e.r visit?
Its so hard doing this without hubby but he is a correctional officer and will be up here friday. Im trying my best to hang in there so hard being nausea 24 7. After this baby we will not have anymore just because of the sickness
Overnight. But they could put you on another oral antibiotic with Phenergan before admitting you. Worse case, overnight admission with IV antibiotic, phenergan, hydration, etc.

They will give you an IV antibiotic, and likely IV Zofran. I've been through two pregnancies with hyperemesis.
