To help fight hunger, JUICY JUICE® and Feeding America® have launched the Fruit For All Project which will donate up to 35 million pieces of fruit to children and families in need. Share how you give back to your community.
Thank you to all the moms who shared their inspiring stories of giving back to their community. As a result, CafeMom will donate $2,000 to Feeding America, the nation's leading domestic hunger-relief charity!
i donated blood every chance i could before i got pregnant. since then i have donated blood about three times.
i also donate food to pantries and clothes to the goodwill.
I am a member of a charity in my city since 2002. its something my family has been heavily involved in since 1918. basically we raise money for poor/underprivileged children.
I volunteer for my local rescue squad as an advanced EMT
Everytime I clean out my closet or dd's I donate to local shelter.
Everytime I clean out dd's toys I donate to local shelter.
I buy extra food for local food pantry (not shelter pantry, but for seniors)
$100 a year to local charities (all I can afford)
Volunteer at Animal shelter when I can (about 10 days a year)
In the rare event that I buy fast food & see someone sitting in the parking lot with a "help" sign, I buy stuff for them too.
In Winter I buy blankets at Thrift Stores that benefit local charities, keep them in my trunk, and when I see someone who looks cold give them one.
You don't have to be a millionaire to help. Every little bit helps those in need.
we donate food to the food banks..clothes to homeless shelters...and money to charities
