At what age do you think you will allow  your children to watch the movies? What about read the books? Will you start "early" and read the books to them? If you choose this last option, at what age will you do this?

My dd is 7 and has been watching the movies for over a year. Actually longer.  She understands a lot more than I thought she would.

She hasn't started to read the books but when she is ready, I will let her.

My son is 5 and has watched all the movies. He loves Luna, lol!! He was a little frightened by 'He Who Must Not Be Named'. But who isn't. :-)) The books I will wait until he is a lot older. they are rather long for a 5 year old. Heck, I'm 31 and struggled!!

I let my 5 year old watch the first 6 movies. I think the last 2 had some scenes I didn't approve of for him to watch. I know him and he would've had bad dreams for sure.

My kids are 4 and 5, so they have no interest in HP yet. If and when they want to watch the movies or read the books I will let them.

My son has a girl in his daycare (age 5) that looks/acts just like Luna! I love her, she is one if my favorite characters.
