I leave tomorrow to go three hours away with my SIL and MIL for the induction of SIL. I know I am taking quarters for the vending machines but I was also wanting to take some snacks for myself, MIL, FIL, and my DD. MIL and I will be staying the night Monday and FIL will be coming up Tuesday morning with my DD when they start the induction. My DD is two. I was wonder what snacks everyone reccomends, and if there is anything specific I need to bring for all of us?
Make sure that your SIL eats like a pig on her way to the hospital because once they start the induction she will not be allowed to eat and they will limit what kinds of food she can eat the night before. Trust me on this!! FEED HER!!! LOL!
Other than that, realize that an induction can take a while especially if her body isn't ready.
I would be more concerned about bringing things/food to entertain your DD but please, don't eat in front of your SIL!

O i know better than to eat in front of a pregnant woman that cannot eat. Since my FIL won't in the delievery room he will be with dd, I will bring food for her but he can also take her somewhere if needed. MIL and I don't really plan on leaving the room for much since SIL has asked us to stay so we are just bringing stuff so we can step out and have a couple bites and come back in. I really hope she is ready since she is 42wks
