I need a good book to read, any suggestions? ETA

I just finished the Fifty Shades trilogy. It was okay, not as great as I had expected it to be.
So, I now need another book to read. I mostly read fiction and fantasy. Sometimes I'll read nonfiction or mystery, depends if it catched my attention.
Any suggestions?

Me N Emma and Sleepwalking in Daylight. Both are by Elizabeth Flock. Disturbing yet moving novels. She has another book that I haven't had a chance to read yet.

50 Shades is garbage. I'm reading Jenny Lawson's "Let's Pretend This Never Happened" currently, it's like an extra long run-on sentence, but it's pretty damn funny.

I'm reading Fifty Shades right now,and frankly i'm not even to any of the sex yet, and I'm not that impressed. 9 1/2 Weeks was much better if your'e into softcore chick- type porn. Lol! My favorite book is not a new one. it's been around for ages, and isn't welll known, but fascinating nonetheless. it's a Stephen King story called The Eye of the Dragon. I loved it and I'm not sure why it's not more well known.

I don't have much time to read for myself, but if you have a child you read with the 39 Clues series is excellent.  I would say it is for ten and older.  Thye are mystery and adventure, but are very educational and have a fun way to bring historical figures into it.  There is also a website they can go on with games, finding clues, and becoming part of the story.
