how did you feel the days leading up to labor?
I was just really tired. I had no energy and it hurt to simply stand up.
I felt nauseous, and feverish, sort of like I had the flu. I didn't really feel anxious, but more kind of spacey. Like it was hard to really focus on anything. Just sort of a depressed, I don't feel good kind of feeling.
Each time I was pregnant and that was 4 times, just before I went into labor I was on fire. I wanted to clean the house from top to bottom. Do the yard. Do anything I could to get things cleaned. This would start about a week before labor and we all knew what was happening. Within three to four days I gave birth. But man was my house clean and ready for a new baby. Wish I had that much energy now.
Sleepy and hungry and desperate to gnaw ice. I was snappy but not hateful. I just had a low tolerance for ignorance. I had patience but it tended to wear thin quickly. Oh and I was concerned about the state of my toenails. It actually bugged me that I did not have a pedicure and that my toes were going to be next to the doctors face. Like he was going to be paying them any attention. LOLOL
I felt great up until the last weekend. My blood pressure was high and the doctor told me to stay off my feet until Monday then come back in. That's when the put me in the hospital and induced labor. The next morning they rushed me to get an emergency C Section. Try to stay calm because if your blood pressure is up they could have to take the baby Good Luck
Quoting phantomphan:
Pissed off at the WORLD. Seriously. I wanted to stab everyone.
