my kid cut her hair! She didn't stop there though...she then proceeded to cut up a bunch of her clothes all of her barbies hair and a bunch of other stuff in her room....she was supposed to beup there putting her toys away....my neighbor thinks she might have some sort of psychological problem....me, i just don't know what to think...except she had been growing her hair her whole life and it was down past her butt! I'm freaking out...and have no clue what i'm going to do here.

^^ this I know many kids who have cut their own hair lol , my daughter had cut her hair twice when she was supposed to be cutting paper or something alng those lines natural curiosity. She also had a pair an cuut afew shirts ect Its just kids trying new things. nothing psychological , i mean maybe if she was ttrying to cut her toes off of her siblings ears off lol but not that kind of stuff :O)
Is she showing any signs that there may be other problems? I wouldn't say a child had problems simply because they cut their hair etc... Lots of kids get a hold of scissors and cut their hair or other things and it doesn't mean anything.
she had a pretty hard time when her brother was born and had some screaming fits where she would hit and kick and what not but he's 2 now and it's been a looong time since that's happened. Other then that nothing...she's a little dramatic but she always has been. Her teacher says she's amazing in school has tons of friends and is very bright. At home we have issue getting her to pick up her room but nothing major she's generally a pretty happy kid.
