Holy crap that was down right rude of them. Congrats on the job of your dreams!!!

Do you mind me asking what is? I just think it is so cool when people actually accomplish their dreams. :)

Quoting 4everJs:

Started at a 10 because I was excited to go to work and give my 2 weeks notice because yesterday I got offered the job of my dreams!!!

Then about an hour into work it became a 7 because 5 minutes after giving my notice they basically disowned me. Offered my job to someone else right off the bat then made a huge posting that my job was available ASAP. I've worked their 3 years and basically I gave my two weeks notice and they shrugged and said oh well you're replaceable. So the rest of the day they treated me like shit (even more than usual). They bought 5 pizzas for all the supervisors/managers and then they all went into the office and locked me out to watch the floor alone. Didn't include me even though I've bought them lunch before and I'm a fellow supervisor. They came out all stuffed full and tired looking. I told them I was going out to take MY lunch alone so I could smoke. They rolled their eyes at me and told me to hurry up. Then they kicked me out of a staff meeting in front of everyone to go watch the floor stating I was not needed there anyways and that I needed to watch the floor to give real employees priority. FYI I've switched to part time. I'll still be working there just much less.

So by the time I was headed home iwas at about a 4. I let my depression get to me. (which is why I need to leave there because this job does horrors with my battle with depression and anxiety).

I've leveled out to about a 6 now.

I'd say an 8. My best friend is on military leave (r&r) and came home to visit, I tested for technical proficiencies at work, having a getaway this weekend for my birthday, and before going to sleep my princess gave me a kiss and let me know that she loves me. Ahhhh the good life.

6. I didn't get anything done and I spent the day laying on the living room floor with my 5 month old watching Drop Dead Diva on netflix. LOL We're now in bed and she's asleep, so it was a good day. :P

We picked up premade egg rolls from freezer section.  First there was no sauce included like package said and then it tasted like they used a sausage type meat instead of chicken.

8.  We went visiting with grandbaby and went to store for food.  Was sadly disappointed in how the food turned out.

Hospice RN Case Manager

Currently I'm a supervisor at a
Nursing Home. Which is great, but I have no aspirations of becoming an assistant director of nursing or a director of nursing ever in my lifetime. Case management, specifically hospice is my calling because of the relationship you form with the family and client. It will be sad...but knowing a client lived the rest of their life in comfort and dignity and sharing that time with them will be worth it.

I guess yesterday was about a five. I worked nine hours, got groceries, and worked on my craft business that I do in addition to my full time job. The highlight of my day was finding some Japanese fruit jelly cups locally.

started off as a 10, I got an unexpected day off. Went down to a 2, we had to rescue our cousin and daughter from her abusive girlfriend. Ended as a 9 :)
