I have to drive. Work is too far to walk or ride my bike and if I go anywhere else, it's because I have to get something, like groceries, which I couldn't bring back without my car, or I have a kid or two with me.
we use a car, cant really walk many places where i am and there is no bus service.
depends on what the weather is like and where i need to go, if I have to go to the market house, I will walk, if I have to go to Target I have to drive.
We live 11 miles from town where the school is. 26 miles from the grocery store.
So yes, I rely on my car. I have walked to the neighbors about a 1/2 mile down the road but they give me a ride home, so it really doesn't count.
drive. there are only a few months a yearwhere walking would be what we would want to do. in a few days it will be 104 outside and it has been in the 90's for the past 2 weeks or so. then winter hits and it gets cold enough to snow. i do want to get a bike with a pull behind and then we can bike up to the commissary for small batches of groceries in the spring/fall.
If I lived somewhere where riding a bike or walking would get me somwhere.....I would do that. But I live way out in nowhere land, so a car is a must.
