we have central air and heat it took forever to figure out how to get the ac to come on but than we figured it out. but what are you supposed to keep it on without the electronic bill sky high? its bad enough the water bill is alot higher than the electric or gas bill
so what do you keep the ac on? do you change it from night to day or keep it the same all the time

We have it set to 78, and we don't usually turn it on until it's at 82. We turn it on until the cycle finishes, then we turn it off. We've only been turning it on once or twice a day so far the past few weeks. By August, we'll probably have to start using it all day, and sometimes at night. We live in southern CA.
