Start with a store credit card.. like macys or something

It's a myth that you need a credit card to "build" credit. Look up Dave Ramsey and read what he has to say about that.

BOA offers a credit repaid Credit card. You pay $99 for $500 worth of credit.

Orchard Bank has a few good ones, but I don't have any personally. That's what SIL did.
