My friend of 15+ years was 20 weeks prego last tuesday. The same day i took her to a doctors appointment for a checkup and the dr sent her directly to the hospital where they told her she had an infection and had to deliver the baby but the hospital WAS NOT equipped to handle this type of emergency and said it was too risky to transfer her to a hospital that could help. Early morning on June 20th she delivered her little girl and was able to hold her and bond with her little one for approx 3 hours before her baby passed away. She is staying with me for a little while and i know she is experiencing unbearable greif and sadness anyone can. i want to know how i can help her try to deal with this grief.
i have given her her space and dont want to seem over bearing and like a leech. I alsoo dont want to give her too much space for fear of her falling into a depression. Does anyone have any suggestions? She knows that im here to talk to and all that regular jazz that goes with helping someone cope. But right now anything will be welcome.
In advance, THANK YOU ladies for your help!
