My daughter has 4. She started out with just a blanket ("pink fuzzy") and a stuffed elephant ("Ellie"). When the elephant started falling apart, I looked for a replacement and found a bear that was the same material and style. "Bear" became "Ellie's" friend. So then I found another elephant finally that looked almost exactly the same as ellie, but bigger. I figured it was appropriate since my daughter was getting bigger too, but the new elephant became "Ellie's Mommy." I finally gave up. lol

1 mom liked this

DD has a little quilt I made when we were trying to adopt and I kept working on it through the whole process to try to keep my hopes up.  I didn't push it on her, she just took to it. It goes absolutely everywhere with us.  She calls it her "soft".

My 5yo son has a little brown puppy he calls Baby Brown Puppy, its so small he sometimes sneaks it in his pocket to school. I'm not sure what we'll do if he looses it. He also has a blanket he calls Nubby. My 7yo son also has a big brown teddy bear he calls T Bear, and his blanket he calls Binka. He's getting to the point he doesn't carry, sleep, or talk about them any more, though my 5yo will be 40 and still sleeping with his. LOL!
