Yes they all do. They are 7, 6 and 3 and still have one. I got my oldest a blanket when she is born hoping it would be her lovey. She didn't take to it. Then for her first Easter, I bought this pink duck, but it looks more like a platypus so we call it that. Anyways, she was four months then and since she grabbed it out of her basket, it's been her lovey.

Then my second was born in March and so it was Easter time again. I went and found the same platypus but in purple. That automatically became her lovey. They still sleep with them, drag them around the house, and are guests at their tea parties. To fall asleep they suck on what remains of the tag on the butts and what remains of the lil patch of hair on their heads. These things look bad, seriously. They're falling apart and had to be washed every time they were puked on or they had blow outs or leaks in their infancy.

Now my son, his lovey is DW from Arthur, but he calls her, "babydoll". When I found out he as going to be a boy, we went right to walmart to get him a lovey. Of course, it was Easter time. They didn't have the platypus anymore. They had different kinds. So we bought him a bunny holding a football. He didn't take to that. Then, we went to fundraiser for a ECI group that he used to be in when he was 15 months. They came around with a box of animals for every kid to get one free. There wera all sorts of animals. I tried to get him the dragon, because I like them. He searched the box and when he saw DW/babydoll, his eyes lit up and he grabbed her and hugged her. He hasn't put her down since! Then she was lost for two weeks. He was depressed and cried every night for babydoll. I found one on ebay, and the day it arrived, my neighbor called me saying she found it at her house. Then the new one turned out to be a few inches bigger. Lol, now he calls her big babydoll.

Of my 4 kids my oldest DS is the only one, so far. It's one of those little blankets with the bear head in the middle. He doesn't have a name for it but he has to have to go to sleep and he has taken it many places with us. and the funny part is it was bought by someone for his big sister when she was born but she never got attached to it or anything else. So when he was born I found it and gave it to him. I have pics of him sleep around 5-6 months old snuggling it. :) he is 3 now and still very attached to it.

My youngest was two when she picked out a stuffed black lab puppy at our local Waterfowl Festival. She named it Hawk (after my nephew, who named his cat after my daughter).  She never left home without Hawk, and still sleeps with her every night. Oh yeah, she's 16 now.

My granddaughter has two 'blankie bears', and you absolutely do not want to leave the house without one of them!

DS has a red angry bird that he won't leave the house without. He just calls it red angry bird, he doesn't name any of his toys.
