I was changing Ds ( 4 months) on the floor and my 4 yr old was watching. She pointed at Ds and said " that right there is his penis?" I said yes. Then she reached out and grabbed his testicles and asked what 'that' was. I grabbed he arm really fast because she was starting to squeeze and told her never to grab a boy there because it wasn't nice and the area was very delicate. She got all serious and said, " will he cry?" I said " yes, we are very careful not to bump boys and men there, because it is very delicate. That's why daddy doesn't want you to run up and ram into him, it hurts when you do that." she nodded and looked like she understood. I asked her to sit next to him and keep him occupied while I took my 2 year old potty. Dh walked in the door just then with their godfather and I heard them walking over to the baby. Then dd shouts " don't step on him or bump his penis! He will cry and throw up!". Lol. Dh now wonders what exactly we talk about when he is gone.
