(Link to pics in OP) (UPDATE 34th reply) Can u believe this ish???
Yesterday I was @ Osh Kosh and Carters taking advantage of this ginormous sale they both had going on (more clothes for baby to be). I started feeling faint, dizzy etc (39 wks exact). Bottom line ... I went to l&d to find out I was dehydrated, was feeling affects of pregnancy related anemia (knew that already) and I was 3.5 cms dilated. They sent me home to walk (not a surprise). Whats trippin me out is that here it is after 3am and she still isnt coming. I know this ish happens all the time to moms, but why me? Lol. Drs were saying before Id be lucky if I became 32 wks preg with her (threatened pre term, was on progesteren, short cervix, got steroid shots w/ a 24 hr hospitlaization). Help!! I wanna have this baby! Im 39 wks and 1 day today!

Aww I'm sorry she was so rough. I was 4cm at 341/2 weeks and my water broke just shy of 39 weeks. It was terrible I had a lot of pain and pressure for the whole 4 weeks.

Omg! What week did u dilate 4? What week did u deliver? So I measured @ 4 cms dilated today @ my appt, so im half more than 2 days ago. Ugh! Im posterior tho (sigh). The RN had to have a mid wife come check me and she was a lil rude and the bitch jammed her finger up there. IT HURT so bad. I told her to stop n that it hurt too bad. She didnt. I may report her. Ive been n pain all day.

Ha yea my first pregnancy (and sadly my only one so far) was rough. First Dre tests didn't detect pregnancy until 7 weeks but first response tests detected it at 3 weeks. Ultrasound showed I was 7 weeks but from lmp I was 11 weeks.
She measured small until 20 weeks. Then I had contractions at 23 weeks. Got steroid shots and all that and found out I had a short cervix and a dynamic cervix (I was dilating up and down). Was on bedrest from week 24 to week 32 IN the hospital. I was *lucky if I made it to 30 they said.
Then DD started measuring bigger. Since I had an ultrasound everyweek at the hospital she was all over the place. First it was only a couple days bigger then she should be. Then a week. Then 2 weeks.. then 3 weeks bigger... at 28 weeks I had HUGE contractions. She flipped head down and engaged.at 30 weeks I got h1n1! At 32 weeks I was released and was told it was 'okay' if I had her.
At 35 weeks and something days contractions started but in my back. For 5 DAYS I was screaming and crying. They told me they weren't going to stop it or help it. So I had to deal. I dilated 1 cm a day. Last day I switched hospitals because it was closer to me. They got my charts from the other hospital and said my dates were ALL over the place. They had no idea how far along I was. Finally I had her 12 hours later. They said she was the size of a good 39 week old baby. I was 36 weeks. She was 7 lbs 10 oz. 21 1/2 inches long. Full head of hair. She was stuck in my pelvis! That's why I had back labour! After I had her I got blood poisioning due to a kidney infection due to a uterus infection that they suspected started when I was 23 weeks!
My pregnancy was rough! I hate those Dre at my old hospital! I kept telling them something wasn't right.. that I had an infection extra.. they kept saying no.
I could of died- DD could have died! She's nearly 3 years old and we have been ttc for 1.5 years with no luck :( Dr thinks it was my uterus infection that is causing all my problem since it was untreated for so long.

I went into preterm labor at 24 weeks with my son.
He wasn't born til 38 weeks and 6 days.
They thought I would be lucky to make it to 30 weeks.
Oy... well at least your baby is here and is healthy. 7lbs 3 oz isn't a bad weight. She could have been heavier though if you let her cook longer.

Relax momma :) when the bun is done, the oven will let you know! The longer she bakes according to the recipe,, the better! Count your blesings that you don't have a preterm with health probs! I know by this time, you are miserable and aching and feeling like Shamu, but when she does make her grand entrance, you will forget allll about the "ish-es" !!! (((You)))
