There's one of those here in Seattle too. The parents were in the middle of an ugly divorce when their two yo son went missing under totally fishy circumstances (She said they ran out of gas so she left him sleeping in the car on the side of the freeway. She and her 4 yo daughter walked to the gas station. Surprise! He's gone when they come back.) The mother was very evasive when questioned and refused polygraph. The dad volunteered to take one and passed. Most signs point to her sending him to the Ukraine with her father, who had been visiting and flew home a few days before the boy went missing.
