How often do you use a check??

I only started using them because the school wants checks instead of cash....I hate it. It just takes forever for them to clear out of the account and I start to wonder "Was something wrong??" LOL

This is our primary method of paying bills.  I don't trust online anything as far as my  money goes.  I've had too many issues with it.  Everyone keeps pushing for us to use their online/automated crap by claiming that they didn't get our check in time, etc. but I'm not buying it and I let them know too.  lol.

We've had our account drained through an employee at PayPal.  Strange deductions with our debit card.  I'm not having it!  I do shop online when I have to but I watch everything like a hawk and document everything.  The only automated thing is Hulu Plus.  But that's only $8.  It wouldn't make a huge dent if they decided to take anything out early. 

We're in the 3000's.  Nightmare Before Christmas checks.  ;)

During the school year - we use quite a few.  I prefer writing checks for field trips, items being sold, fundraisers, etc.  Also - we use checks to pay tuition.

Hardly ever. Last time I used one before this week was a year ago to pay my water bill since I hardly left the house I hardly had cash...
But I used THREE this week lol. (Security deposit, pet deposit, and 1st months rent) now ill be using them once a month to pay rent rather than paying for a money order...

I write 3 checks a month: rent, electric, and cable.

Rent, trash, and oil whenever we get a delivery, which is usually every other month or so.
