my dd is 5 and has had bad eczema since she was about 7months old.we use aquaphor and cetaphil lotion and body wash and she even has to use a steroid cream for when it gets really bad.well for the past yr its been pretty good she hasnt had really any problems.expect for a few months ago she started getting it bad again on her knees, arms ad ankles.so we were using her cream and it wasnt really helping.on saturday my husband bought the new Neosporin Eczema essentials cream.and we used it twice a day for 4days and everything cleared up and it looks great.so i just wanted to let you mamas know who are having a hard time with your childs eczema you should give it try its 10$ for the tube but i think its worth it.the box says to use it 3,4 times aday but we only used it twice and it worked great

Has she every been tested for allergies, especially milk? A lot of times excema comes from allergies to food/milk products.

I have a friend who just got her 18 month old son tested for food allergies. That's not always normal, but the usually start testing around age three. I would ask another dr to see if they do allergy testing.

you should also try argan oil.  it's 100% natural, contains high amounts of fatty acids, vitamin e and is amazing for eczema.

argan oil can be found at the health food store (or whole foods).  i like aura cacia 100% certified organic argan oil.  i put it on my face and it practically erased my fine lines but also got rid of the eczema.

apply it daily - twice a day - and you'll see results in about 1 or 2 wks.

also make sure that your dd reduces her dairy intake as it is a trigger.  junk food is also a trigger.  make sure she drinks lots of water and takes fish oil supplements daily.
