Do you make your own birthday cakes or buy them? *pics*

I decided this year that I would not buy a single bday cake and I haven't so far. I have never been one for baking or decorating but As long as we can eat it, it doesn't matter too much what it looks like :)

Here are the cakes I made this year for my three kids bday parties.

If you have any feedback, please be gentle...I've never bake cakes in my life before this! LOL

This. And we let the kid decorate the cake. So it usually just looks a mess of icing and sprinkles.

I always bake ours. Most often I do ice cream cakes...SO yummy!!

My oldest son asked for "Snickers" Ice Cream Cake this year...

my middle son asked for Strawberry Lemonade Sherbet Cake

My youngest sons bday is in Oct and he hasnt decided what kind he wants yet.

I have made all of my DD's cakes too.  This is last years cake.  I don't have this years on my comp yet. For those who may not know this is Tad from the Leap Frog series.
