I have to come up with 1800 dollars for my delivery of my daughter...
So far out of pocket I've paid 4000+ dollars for the pregnancy and delivery....
Total cost of my pregnancy including what insurance covered is 15000+ dollars, delivery alone was 8000....
Holy shit man!
I paid 500 dollars last month on this, And for my hospital stay and dd's it is gonna cost 1800 more...hopefully after that is paid its done!
I have no amount due other than the 1800 which is recent, but shit man its expensive!
Also what I've paid so far is prepayment to doctor for delivery 200 every visit from January on to may, every week til April, then it was every other week.
Everything insurance didn't cover, and for the entire month of Jan I was uninsured so that was self pay.
My hospital stay was 4 days long, I went in on the first of may and got admitted due to pre-e, I was induced on may 2nd and stayed til the 4th.
$8000 isn't bad considering I had my tubes tied, had an epi, and was put to sleep for the tubal. But still expensive

Lol I'm pretty sure at least 500 of what I paid to my doctor should be credited to the hospital but still expensive

lol hopefully! Well they say kids are expenisive lol but I would be looking into a different insurance if you have any more. Also most states(if you are in the u.s) even if you have regular insurance you can get public insurance to cover co-pays ect. I know that sounds bad but sometime it can really really help. It would have covered what ever you insurance didnt.

If your our of pocket max is 3000 and you already paid 4000 out of pocket way do you have to come up with 1800, somthing don't add up
