My house is surrounded by trees. The front of the house is the most "open"...there's only two tress there, but they're HUGE so my home is still pretty well surrounded.

Anyway....does anyone want to know how many times a day a crazy flipping bird flies into my living room window??? 6 already, in an HOUR. (it could be the same bird...lol).

And I jump out of my skin EVERY SINGLE time!

You can buy some window clings to keep the birds from doing it. I'm sure it hurts them too.

It happens when the windows are dirty too, lol.

I cleaned the windows a MONTH ago...and that was the first time in at least a year :X LOL

They make a certain type of window coating that will stop the sound you can just put it over the window I forget what it is but you can google different ways to stop them.
