We are homeschooling my oldest this school year. He has autism and has made no progress (he actually regressed a little) in the 2 years he's been in school. So, we're going to give it a try on our own as well as having ABA therapists coming to the house to work with him 1:1.
I've considered it, but I don't think I'm qualified to do it. It's just not my area of expertise. We opted for private school instead.

We finished our first year in June. We had our ups and downs, but it was a great decision for us.
Nope and Nope. My kids go to public school, but I make sure to fill in any gaps in their learning and give them opportunities to learn about things they enjoy that don't come up in the school curriculum.
We have considered it. However there is a lot of hoops you have to jump through and its out of our budget. Kuddos to the mamas who do, I'd love to be able to do it! :)
