There's units that actually work in my daughter's room and my room. We live in a single wide... the one in the lr does not work and it is just on fan. It does get hot some days but not unbearably so... probably because our place is small and my daughter's a/c is STRONG!

Central Air-got it last year-Love it!!  My mom gave it to me as a gift for I was having way too many seizures in the hot weather!

Nope, and it gets above 90 almost everyday in the summer, we live with fans and other tricks.
