so you are looking to move, you find a rent house in your price range and call, you go to look in the windows of it and notice the doors are all unlocked, do you go on in just to look around or not?

I would go in and look around, but only if DH was there. If it's that easy for me to go in, it's that easy for someone else to go in, too.

I probably would. I actually did that once while I was in college. My roommates and I ended up living in that house for a few years.

no i would not. I don't think it's right to go in a house that is not yours if you don't have permission to do so... That is jmo though.

If I called and they said that it would be unlock bewteen this time and that time and I could look then I would but if not then no. A lot of landlords around my town will not come out to show you the house they have someone that lives close by unlock it in the morning and then lock it up they will only meet with you once you have saw the place and is going to put the deposit down.
