Help with dh!

He has had a migraine since 2:00 am and can't get it to go away he said it will easy up and move to the back of his head and when it's really bad it's at his timples but sleeping hasn't help excedren hasn't helped and eating didn't help he won't go to the doctor unless he's dieing lol. Any suggestions?

I use 800mg motrin and a sugar free redbull when I get my migraines

I have to have a prescription for imitrex to get rid of my migraines

It's not unusual for a migraine to last that long. He should lay down in a dark, quiet room with a cold compress on his head. Unfortunately, there's is not much else that will help. Some people think caffeine helps.

Mine can last days after the initial set in. Usually they get really bad and then ease up and stay for a few more days. The last one was 4 days.

I get them that last 3 full days. And they dojust what you DH is describing, kinda move to a different part of my head, but the pain stays constant. Last time I had one I took some Aleeve. It worked great for a few hours, but you can only take 2 every 36 hours and you gotta not take too much else while your on them. But the migraine was completely gone for about 6 hours while I was on them. Nothing else ever makes them go completely away except time.
