so i was watching the news.

and fisher price has these new things for ipads and iphones, where you put the device inside of the holder, and the baby/child can't drop it or if it does drop it doesn't break the device, and also have new stickers that go over the home key.

first off, why would a baby be playing on an ipad or an iphone in order to make these?

the stickers i agree with, but the case holders, seriously?

My son has used mine since he was a year. They have lots of interactive games that his early intervention therapist recommended.

My 3 and 4 year old play with the iPad all the time.. Even though they are responsible with it, accidents happen. I might look into getting one.

My three year old plays games on my iPhone. It's an easy way to keep him entertained while waiting.

Both my 8 year old and 2 year old each have an iPad. My 8 year old is going to get an iPhone for Christmas.

My daughter (now 6) has played with our iTouches and iPhones since she was a toddler. We gave her hubbies iTouch at 2 1/2 when he upgraded. She still has it...in great shape.I don't see the difference than kids playing with handheld game systems.Just because my child plays with (educational) apps doesn't mean she doesn't learn from me every day!
