Birthday Gift for a 2 year-old

We have a birthday to go to for a close friend who's dd is turing 2. She said in the invite not to worry about a gift but I'd still like to get something. The thing is she has ALOT of toys becuse her grandmother is always getting her stuff. Not that this is bad at all but they live in an apartment and there is limited space to the toys she already has are taking over! lol I don't want to get anything that would just add to the things she already needs to find space for. I was thinking stickers, coloring book? I really don't know! Anyone have any good ideas? Thanks :)

Bath tub paint.  My grand-daughter loves it, and she has to bathe, right?  Its fun without being a toy.

Zoo tickets.
That's what we got the two year old next door to my FIL.
