Options would be zuchini, pumpkin watermelon and squashes. I planted all but my chickens stole the sticks telling me what is what. Idk if these are all the same plant or different but each ball is a different ball lol. Leaves look similar all are vines with little cool curls coming off of them. but id assume not zuchs because they are so perfectly round and they have stripes like watermelons but idk what those look like!

PIC A Plant A taken August 2nd

**UPDATE

PIC B Taken August 11th! thats some fast growing. Looks like a watermelon to me :)

This is PIC A plant B Taken August 2nd

This is PIC B plant B Taken August 11th. Idk what it is but its the color of a manila Envelope so idk if its a squash or a pumpkin This one is more bumpy while the watermelon is smooth so im thinking its a squash?

OH and do all corn get purple things on the top? they are a pretty violet color!

AND look my corn is very Purpley Purple!!

and wanted to share my lettuce lol i NEVER knew you could plant it and cut it off to eat and it will grow back in a few weeks! over and over. thats crazy lol

Looks just like my baby pumpkins! Are the vines super scratchy? if they are it's a pumpkin. I mean squash can be scratchy too but I swear I lose all the skin on my arms after I've weeded the pumpkins.
Or corn doesn't have violet tops on them though, I feel so cheated! lol!

Yeah? where at in WA? But i thought zucchini do Not vine out? dont they grow straight up? all the melon balls are on plants that vine out. as far as flowers i have about 30 flowers and all of them are orange. but different shades of orange

omggggggggg I am in wa state as well  LOL...... We have had a bad growing season but I think it is still a pumpkin.  I have been wrong before though.   My guy says a type of melon or the zucchini.   I havent seen corn with the purple stalks before and i grew up around corn fields.   What color were the blossoms?  Zucchini have yellow ones which are edible.

Im In WA state and i think i planted late. I have corn, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, watermelons, squash, zuchs, pumpkins, pepers and okra. My tomatoes are litterally only 4in tall! and i take proper care of them. Everything sprouted late. i only have 4 balls on about 20 plants so far. so idk if ill get anything being so late but im trying. ill have to google I have 3 different types of leaves.

1 looks like the maple leaf and that one grows out and has vines. one has maple type leafs with pointy looking edges everywhere thats another vine. then i have HUGE lillypad looking leaves and those are not viney and grow straight up(which i hear are zuchini) here is a pic of all the top leaves maybe that is more helpful? the balls i posted pics of are only on the right side of this pic(this was them about 3 weeks ago they are way bigger now)

Quoting frndlyfn:

squash or pumpkins..... Watermelons would be ripe by now in most states and full size.  Pumpkins can get those lines before they become orange and ridged.

well they all feel scratchy to me i try not to touch them. but one set of leaves are more scratchy then the other! LOL idk what kind of corn i planted. I bought what was cheap but i typically like super sweet corn so my guess is that is what i got. :) they are pretty! Much prettier in person!

I'd say pumpkins in the first pic. That's what mine looked like.

Looks like squash to me. And, the purple things on the corn will pollinate the ears. Then, you'll see the ears start to grow. :)

The first one looks like pumpkin, and the 2nd is squash. I've never grown corn so not sure about the purple flower maybe the hairs that are on it.
