Do you like where you live? Why? Why not?
Ok way late need to go to bed-but asking tons of questions-down time
So anyways I will answer --
Yes I like where I live and it is a quiet and friendly neighborhood
Our neighborhood is nice, neighbors mind their own business, shopping is a stone throw away.
We've talked about moving out of the city but I like being close to everything so idk if we will.
Yes I like where I live. Quiet neighborhood, great schools and close to great resources for our disabled son
Any chance of blowing that popsicle stand?

NO! I hate almost everything about this place.
An example: I ran out of TP the third night I lived here, at 10 pm. Guess what? EVERYthing is closed. No TP for me!
I was STARVING and too sik to cook a fee days ago ("morning" sickness), and guess what? The only three dining options AND the gas station were closed, at 7 pm.
The people are hill billy rednecks, and totally inbred and ignorant. (There is actually a man who lives in my county who has never left the county. Ever. He's 72-ish.)
There are only about 1,200 people in the county. Most of them have one of seven last names.
Speaking of last names, I married into a family that apparently no one likes, so guess who got a "bad reputation" right away? Good thing I work at the hotel where locals don't go and I don't have to deal with these idiots!
It's 72 miles to everything: my OB, the nearest fast food, the nearest clothing store, the nearest body of water (a huge deal for me because I grew up on the river!)
Basically...I hate this town with my very living breath. And don't get me started on my landlord or my crappy-ass house.
Ugh!!
LOVE my home. Even if I won the lotto I would not move! We just bought this home and it has been a dream come true for me!
We just moved to Colorado Springs and I LOVE it!! Our neighborhood is quiet, lots of kids for DD and everyone is super friendly. The mountains are beautiful, there's hundreds of different trails to hike and bike. Schools are great and there is always something to do! DH is military and I'm already dreading having to leave! This is where we want to retire!
The most recent thing is that my (very impractical and super expensive) oil heater has started leaking fumes into the house the last four days. We don't have AC, so around 10 am, I usually close the house up, and close the curtains. It keeps it a decent 75 in the house when it's 100 outside. Well, you can't really do that when your oil heater
Is pumping toxic fumes into the house.
People have come to look at it twice and can't find anything and they both smoke so heavily they think I'm crazy because they can't smell the oil...Nd DH isn't there to set them straight... And they told my land lord I'm nuts, so he pretty much won't fix it and he lives 160 miles away so can't just come smell my house.
I'm 5.5 months pregnant...I don't need this crap right now!!!! I hate it here so much! :(
(so sorry for the rant.... I'm at a loss.)
