Do you shut the a/c off when it storms?

Okay..I may sound crazy but I turn off all the window a/cs we have when it storms. My mom always has done it so that's where I got it...not a clue why! But dh thinks I'm crazy o.O lol

Only if it feels really good outside. You know when the storm is rolling in and that amazing wind starts coming through. I love opening the door turning off the ac and enjoying it!

No my dh can't handle the humidity.We have central air.

Only if it's cool and the wind is blowing. Then i like having the windows open.

When rains it not in the summer so my ac is alrdy off.

Yes, I do now. Last week we had a VERY bad storm roll through and there was a house about 20 minutes from me where the A/C was on and got hit by lightening. It caused a child's bed to catch on fire, thank god the kid had decided to sleep downstairs that night.
