My 6 year old is starting first grade today. I'm so very worried that he'll end up with a terrible teacher like last year. I'm also worried what his Dr. Will diagnose him with having. We have been waiting a year to find out.
He's overcome a horrible teacher, speech therapy and physical therapy are going great and he still, despite it all smiles every day. I love this little boy and he is truely an inspiration.

Yes he will. We did have to change classes last year because the teachers were total bitches.
He ended up with an incredible teacher and two wonderful aides. And they pulled some strings and got him put into her friends class this year, she knows all about brayden and his problems. The two have actually sat down and discussed ways to help him and they will actually be sending things from his old room to his new room to help him relax with something he remembers and even talked about sensing him to his old class from time to time when he's really good to read to.the kindergartners.
I had a talk with the teacher and cleared the air this morning and went for lunch and they said he is the sweetest they have ever had. He wanted to hug on them all day and played in their hair and was very polite and thanked them constantly and also told them he was very happy in his new room lol

We live in central Mississippi.
he is attending our local public school and even though it started off bad, the principal stepped up her game and between her the 3 new teachers, and my family brayden had an awesome support group. I just hope they stay strong on their end.
