The difference in perspective is amazing lol
Anyway, dh's air mattress keeps getting holes in it. He's patched it about 10 times, lol. He decided to sleep on the couch on the same floor as us last night. He went to bed at 9:30 which means I had to too because everywhere else is open to the living room and would keep him up. So I go in the bedroom and it wakes ds up and he ends up not going to sleep until about midnight. Then as soon as I start to drift dd (2) gets up crying and I put her back to bed. Ds woke to eat 2 more times and at about 4:30 dd gets up again to go potty. Normally when this happens she is up and nothing can make her go back to sleep. Even of you put her back in her room she will come out every 10 minutes so yoU might as well stay up. This time she went back to sleep. Then at 6 she was up for good. This was a very typical night for me. I got maybe 4 hours of sleep total. It takes me a bit to fall asleep each time I get woken up. Dh was a total grouch this morning, complaining of how little sleep he got. I got up with the kids, he didn't. While I'm sure they woke him up on some level, he didn't stir at all even as I walked past him ( when he is really awake he mumbles and moves a lot). So I know he got more sleep than me. He says he only got 4 hours. I just think its funny the difference in perspective. I'm good on 4 hours because it's typical for me. He is so cranky on 5+ hours of sleep. ( which is what I'm betting he got). And the reason he slept upstairs was to get more sleep!
