DOGGIE DIAPERS?

My dog is an Akita/German Shepard mix, she's 13 and about 50/60 pounds. I'm moving to a new apartment next week and she has been incontinent for a couple of months. Have you had any experience with this and if so, have you utilized dog diapers? What kind? Do they work?

not like your situation.
our lil chi-wa-wa started her period on our vacation and we used our youngest sons diapers. Hubby cut a hole for her tail. She was super selfconcious about it but it kept all the blood off of everything.

I wondered about cutting a tail hole out... Yea, I think my Dancer will be self conscious too =0(

Lunarprancer, She is too old to hold her water anymore.. It doesn't get any better Honey.. She's not able to hold it at any time.. There's nothing to do for her.. You'll be changing her alot.. I went throught his w/our dog at the same age.. You may need to think of some near future decisions for her.. Take Care, Donna....

Thank you Donna, I am. She isn't completely incontinent yet. I won't wait too long though.

My mom had to use them with her Belgian malonois the last few months of her life. Her back legs stopped working :(

You just change them frequently so they don't get an infection
