ladies lunch/baby shower

my sil is due with her 4th next month. no one here typically does second showers, but i would really like to do a very casual, ladies lunch kinda thing for her. this is their last and she's been working a lot so i would kinda like to do a little something for her. any ideas for lunch that isn't just sandwhiches?? how should i word it on the invitation?? i don't want to call it a baby shower, maybe something like "ladies lunch. share a special lunch with the mommy-to-be" (except this is her 4th so maybe that's dumb).

That is really sweet and I am sure she will appreciate it.  I will have to think about wording.

How about a casual Sunday brunch with bagels, quiche, fruit salad, muffins, pasta salads etc.

A dessert using fresh berries, like mini fruit tarts with custard?

Call it a Baby Sprinkle. My family did this for us. It is wonderful. Oh and they put the words "Every baby should be celebrated" on the invites.

that's cute.

i kept thinking "ladies lunch" sounded like a bunch of old ladies, but i had no idea how to re-word it without calling it a baby shower.
