A welfare post about myself.... I am mortified! :::EDIT:::

So I never thought I would ever have to be on PA any type... ever! I am so ashamed to even go in the office. my DH cant find work and I cant afford all of the bills alone... We are $1200 behind fit is adding up now, our bills come to $2000 a month not a lot but when I only make 400 a week... it is...

I decided to suck up my pride, go in there and sign my family up for some FS. :(

I REALLY REALLY need it.. I see all of these people get it like its so easy and free and they dont even need it, so I get my interview with them, they said everything looked ok.... A week later they send a case worker TO MY HOUSE telling me im under investigation and We dont qualify etc etc... wtf I ned help just until my DH gets a call back from an employer... I really needed it and all because I sucked up my pride and did what i thought i needed to do, my household is under investigation! for welfare fraud!? really!?

forget it.... I hate that they are doing this to me.... you know 50% of the people in there have no problem but me! when I really need it too.... :/

I am so embarresd I even have to go through this...

EDIT: let me clarify a few things for you....

1) My DH lost his job, now.... we were doing just fine with him working, but when one loses their job bills do not just go away. any "Extras" you guys would call it have large cancellation fees....

It was not like we were living beyond our means when we bought our house and both had steady jobs...

2) Where in the world are some of you getting this "I had two months to downsize" crap? who gave you my timeline?

3) downsizing.... tell me how you downsize so quickly with a house you OWN and have a mortgage your paying that is cheaper than an apt.? How do you sell your car your paying on.... that would put me in a bigger hole than I am in now! And I sure as hell cant downsize my insurance... lol

4) And to answer a few of your questions, I live in Las Vegas....

me neither, they came to my house and said the welfare dpt sent them down here, we were under an investigation, asked a ton of questions, then said we dont qualify...

I tried too, when we had $0 income, but we were denied because I had a retirement account from a job I was let go from the year before. I am well below retirement age, but they wouldn't help, so I had to cash it out early, pay a ton in penalties and use that. I will never ask for help again. It's a BS system.

Never heard of them going to your house.  And how could it be fraud if you never got anything?

Were you fraudulent on your application? There is more to this then you are sharing, you wouldn't be under investigation had something you said on your application didn't line up. What are you leaving out in way of this. Did you lie about your income in some area? Or the amount you pay out in bills?
