I have an addiction. To nail polish. It's really getting out of hand. I probably do a new manicure every other day. What can I say, I bore easily. I find painting nails relaxing. I am attracted to shiny colors, especially those with glitter. Its really a perfect storm. Who is with me on this? Anyone tried any of Essie's mirror metallic polishes yet?
I give myself gel manicures at home. Gels keep that shiny, wet just painted luster forever.
It revolutionized my nails omg, but then again I like having a manicure/paint job last for a couple weeks at a time You can do the dishes and the polish doesn't come off. If you really like to change your color very often it may not be exactly what you are into.
I don't know where the sunbeams end and the starlights begin; it's all a mystery.
This is my daughter also. She is a junior this year away at college earning her B.S.N. She liked doing her nails when she was in high school but now she loves doing them. She says when she needs a study break changing colors is perfect...the right amount of time and takes some focus so gives her mind a break.Plus she enjoys the way her nails look. This summer I never went out for a mani and only had a couple of pedis. She has an amazing array of nail polish and other tools.
Enjoy
I have the Gelish system too. It is awesome if you want your manicure to last, but I get bored easily
